Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by cyon GmbH in Basel (Switzerland). When you access the website, technical data transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically:
- IP address
- date and time of access
- page visited and amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- browser, operating system and preferred language
We need this data to deliver the website, to ensure its security and stability and to prevent misuse. It is not combined with other data and is only kept for as long as necessary for these purposes.
Language detection
On your first visit to the home page, we show the website in the language preferred by your browser. To do so, we evaluate the language setting transmitted by your browser. Your language choice is then stored in a cookie (see below).
Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies:
- pll_language: stores the selected language of the website (storage period: 1 year).
- Cookie settings: store your choice in the cookie notice so that it does not appear on every visit (storage period: 1 year).
We do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time; the website may then only be usable to a limited extent.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email, for example to be informed when the demo is available, we process your details (in particular your name, email address and the content of your message) to answer your request and to inform you as requested. We keep this data until the purpose has been fulfilled or you tell us that you no longer wish to receive information.
Fonts
The fonts used on this website are loaded directly from our server. No data is transmitted to third parties (e.g. Google).
Videos
Videos from YouTube or Vimeo are only loaded when you click “play”. Only then is data such as your IP address transmitted to the respective provider, which may also be based outside Switzerland and the EU (e.g. in the USA). Share buttons
The buttons for sharing content (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp) are simple links. No data is transmitted to these networks when the website loads. Only when you click a button are you taken to the respective provider, whose privacy policy then applies.
Disclosure of data
We do not sell personal data and only pass it on where this is necessary to operate the website (e.g. to our hosting provider in Switzerland), where you have consented, or where we are legally obliged to do so.
Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The website is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS).
